Sarah Bright Haskell, 87, died Oct. 4, 1998, in Virginia Beach.
A native of Augusta, Ga., she was a graduate of Sweet Briar College and a homemaker. She was the widow of the Rev. Louis A. Haskell, former rector of Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. She was an active member of The Colonial Dames and The Boxwood Garden Club in Richmond.
She is survived by four daughters, Judith Brewer of Short Hills, N.J., Katherine Subramanian of Philadelphia, Pa., Sally Richardson of Richmond, and Connie Haskell of Boston, Mass.; a sister, Judith Haskell of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Matthew Gracey of Delray Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Anne Langdon Hulcher and Matthew Copeland Hulcher.
