AUBURN - Carlton Wardwell, 79, of Lewiston, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the Hospice House in Auburn.
He was born in Lewiston on February 1, 1937, to Kenneth and Evelyn (Hascall) Wardwell.
Carlton enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as playing cards and checkers.
For ten years, he worked at the Nezinscot Guild in Turner.
Surviving him are a sister, Charlotte and her husband, Bill Mullen; a brother, Reggie Sweatt and his wife, Joyce; a niece, Joyce and her husband, Bob Frechette; and two nephews, Kenneth and his wife, Bethany Mullen, and Bruce and his wife, Cheryl Mullen.
Carlton was predeceased by his parents.
Carlton's family would like to thank the Hospice House and Clover Manor for the wonderful care they provided. They would also like to thank Opportunity Enterprises for providing Carlton with fun things to do.
FUNERAL NOTICE
WARDWELL - Carlton, 79, of Lewiston, died Thursday, June 23, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 10am, Wednesday, June 29, at Lisbon Center Cemetery on Lisbon Street in Lisbon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice House, c/o Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, 15 strawberry Avenue, Lewiston, Maine 04240.
