  Pilot Rock News February 8, 1968 Memorial services were held Monday afternoon for Frank Cable at Folsoms Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jay Warden of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Pilot Rock Cemetery. Bearers were Ivan Warner, Glen Male, Harold Smith, Clifford Catlett, Don Roy and Leonard Mentzer. Honorary bearers were Andrew Harvey, Walter Jones, Harry Snow, Arthur Hutchison, Maurice Roy and Charles Carnes. Frank Cable was born Oct. 25, 1891 to Mr. and Mrs. Truman Cable on West Birch Creek. He attended school in the old Byrd School on the Creek. In 1921 he was married to Nettie Hascall. For 30 some years they have kived in their present home on West Birch. Mr. Cable has collected Indian relicts and is said to have a beautiful collection of Indian arrow heads. Besides Mrs. Cable, other survivors are his sisters, Mrs. Sadie Hascall and Mrs. Walter Jones, both of Pilot Rock and Mrs. Addie Edmonds of Stanfield.: brothers, Clark Cable of Pilot Rock and Alfred Cable of HermistonThe following obituary provided by Richard K.
