  East Oregonian (Pendleton, OR) July 3, 2003 REDMOND -- Former Pendleton resident Jean Lenore Powell, 67, of Redmond, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, of natural causes. Mrs. Powell was born Jan. 24, 1936, at Pendleton, to Lester and Etta Fletcher Hascall. She married Jack Powell on Oct. 21, 1952, at Dayton, Wash. Mrs. Powell was employed by the Tumalo School District. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include son, Mike Powell of Poulsbo, Wash.; daughters, Jackie Feik of Bremerton, Wash., Mona Powell of Gresham, Cindy Powell of Redmond and Bonda Powell of Bend; a sister, Marie Roy of Pilot Rock; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and by brothers, Dick Hascall, Larry Hascall and Donald Hascall.
