  Bellingham Herald June 18, 1997 A funeral for Carol Lorraine Cain of Bellingham will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Geneva Community Church. Mrs. Cain died at home Saturday, June 14, 1977, she was 67. Born July 12, 1929 to Edison and Eleanor Northup in Pendleton, Ore., she graduated from Ridgefield High School in 1947 and from Samuel Merritt Nurses School in Oakland, Calif., in 1951. She married Ben Cain on July 6, 1951. A registered nurse, Mrs. Cain worked at St. Lukes and St Joseph hoskitals. She enjoyed playing piano and organ at Silver Beach Community Church and working at Geneva Community church. Survivors include he husband, daughters Cindy Davis of Spokane and Karen Watt of Federal Way; son Ken Cain of Bellingham; brother Dean Northup of Oakridge, Ore.; sister Joyce Harris of Rockport; 17 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
