• Notes

  Grace Chappell Haskell was for many years a civilian with the U.S. Army in Korea. She never married, but adopted two Korean children before she returned to the United States. She was hit by a car in Columbia, S,C, in 1975 and suffered severe physical and cognitive impairment in 1984.
