  Lewiston Evening Journal February 1, 1954 Durham - Chellis C. Hascall, 75, died Saturday evening at his home after a long illness. Born in Durham, June 16, 1878, he was the son of James A. and Maleen Carpenter Hascall. He was a farmer and lived on Durham all his life. He was a 50 year member of Eureka Grange and attended the Methodist Church at West Durham. He served as road commissioner for the town several terms. Surviving are his widow, the former Ada Rose Libby whom he married in 1903; a daughter, Mrs. Arline Brown, Portland and two grandchildren. Died - In Durham, Jan. 30. Mr. Chellis C. Hascall.
