  Lewiston Evening Journal July 9, 1982 Ilda Marble, 81, of 6 Josslyn St., Auburn, widow of Dwight Marble, died Thursday evening at her home, following a lingering illness. Born Aug. 28, 1900, at Durham, she was the daughter of George and Rose Hascall Sewall. Her husband died in 1961. Mrs. Marble was a member of the United Baptist Church of Lewiston, The Alden M. Gayton Post Auxiliary, and the Gold Star Mothers, and she was director of the Oak Hill Cemetery Association, and Secretary of the Durham Cemetery Association. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Betty) Burke of Auburn and Mrs. Francis (Priscilla) James of Freeport; a sister, Altie Sylvester of Westfield, Mass.; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. A son Richard, died in 1944 while serving in the military in World War II.
