  The State (Columbia, SC) July 1, 2006 WEST COLUMBIA - Service for Roger McCree Clark, 54, will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens. Mr. Clark died Thursday, June 29, 2006, unexpectedly. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late McCree Clark, Jr. and Mary Haskell Clark. He started working with the state in 1989. Most recently, he was a telecommunications specialist for PBX Switches which involves about 50,000 telephones. He was considered one of the most experienced and knowledgeable in his field. His commitment to excellence and customer support has been observed by all who have had the opportunity to work with him. Mr. Clark was an avid hunter. He was a dedicated husband, dad and grandpa. Surviving are his wife, Diane McLaurin Clark; stepsons and daughter-in-law, George Gordon of Columbia and Chris and Casey Gordon of Tampa, Fla.; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Jim Odom of Cheraw; stepmother, Mary W. Clark of Columbia; sister, Christina Clark of Columbia; grandchildren, Kailia, Bryan, Michael, Jesika, Heather, Viktoria and Callie; niece, Simone Duff; and nephew, Alexander Duff.
