  The Red Oak Express July 9, 2013 John Lewellen, 75, Ralston, Neb. died July 5, 2013, at his residenc John Edward Lewellen was born Sept. 29, 1937, in Winterset, the son of Virgil and Grace (VanEpps) Lewellen. He married Grace Hascall June 8, 1957 in Emerson. Survivors include his wife, Grace of Ralston; sons, Kent Lewellen of Des Moines and Jay Lewellen of Horsham, Pa.; and two sisters, Mary Ann Carlson of Red Oak and Myra McMullen of Shenandoah.
