  Wichita Eagle March 21, 2001 Hascall, William Theodore "Ted," 68, of Wichita, formerly of College Station, Texas, died Sunday, March 18, 2001. Dr. Hascall was born in Riverside, Calif. on Christmas Eve, 1932. He served as a career officer in the Air Force, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. As a pilot, he completed more than 100 combat missions in fighter aircraft in Vietnam. His awards include the Distinguished Flying Cross with Clusters, the Bronze Star and Air Medal with Clusters. He received two degrees in industrial engineering and a Ph.D. in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University and taught on the faculty at Texas A&M University and Wichita State University. Following his academic career he established a real estate appraisal consulting firm in Wichita, Ted Hascall Associates. Preceded in death by father and mother, Colonel Alva and Mayetta Hascall; infant daughter, Diane. Survivors: wife, Clara; daughters, Elizabeth Gomez of Wichita, Susan McKinney of Overland Park; brother, Alva Hascall of Justin, Texas; granddaughters, Rachel and Devon Gomez; stepgrandson, Chase Gomez. _____ The Bryan/College Station Eagle William Theodore 'Ted' Hascall Dec. 24, 1932 — March 18, 2001 WICHITA, Kan. — Private memorial services for William Theodore "Ted" Hascall, 68, of Wichita have been held. Mr. Hascall died Sunday. He was born in Riverside, Calif., and formerly lived in College Station. He served as a career officer in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.
