New Bedford, Mass. - Charles S. Haskell, 56, died in Boston, Mass. Tuesday after a long illness. He was born in Augusta, Dec. 15, 1921, the son of Herman F. and Hester Dawbin Haskell.
He had been employed as a scallop fisherman for 20 years in New Bedford.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Haskell, New Bedford; his mother, Mrs. Hester Ellis, and a stepfather, Raymond Ellis, both of Hallowell; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Dostie and Mrs. Virginia Heald, both of Hallowell, and Mrs. Hermany Gilmore, Hoffman, Ill., three stepchildren, and two grandchildren.
