Alice P Wotton, 98, formerly of Warren, Maine, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Life Care of Cleveland. She was born in Belfast, Maine, March 15, 1909. She was the daughter of Leland and Hattie Ward Piper. She was educated in Belfast schools and was a 1927 graduate of Crosby High School.
She married Robert D. Wotton on Aug. 31, 1941. She resided all of her married life in Warren.
She and her husband were longtime active members of South Hope Community Church. Her husband died Oct. 26, 1985. She moved to Cleveland in 1997 to live with her daughter, Lois Riley. Since that time, she has been a member of the Westmore Church of God.
Survivors include two sons; Bernard L. Wotton of Collegedale and Stephen R. Wotton and his wife, Audrey, of Elyria, Ohio; one daughter, Lois M. Riley and her husband, Milton W. of Cleveland; three grandchildren: Alicia J. Riley, Rebekah L. Riley and Matthew R. Wotton; three great-grandchildren: Cole Matthew Wotton, Carlie Elizabeth Wotton and Samuel Robert Wotton; and several nieces and nephews.
