Weeks Mills – Joseph "Red" Hildanus Haskell, 72, of Shuman Road, died Oct. *, 1990 at Country Manor Nursing Home, Coopers Mills, where he had been a patient for several weeks.
He was born in Palermo on Nov. 4, 1917, the son of Raymond and Olive (Marden) Haskell.
He attended Palermo schools. Mr. Haskell worked for many years as a woodsman and farmer, and also was employed by the Hussey family in Windsor, South China Plumbing and Heating, and Lipman Poultry Co.
On Dec. 24, 1955, he married Jeanette Lucienne Gauthier in Palermo. He had lived in Weeks Mills for the past 26 years.
He is survived by his wife of Weeks Mills; four sisters, Mrs. Jame (Maud) Studley, Mrs Wilbur (Beulah) Dow and Mrs. Elwood (Alice) Knight, all of Albion, and Charlene Kitchen of China; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Windsor.
