Born December 29, 1921 in Sterling, CT, and daughter of Walter and Edith (Underwood) Davies. She was a 1939 graduate of Morse High School and Mother of Preston resident Elizabeth McGlynn. Surviving are her two children, Mark W. Haskell of Camden; Elizabeth C. McGlynn and her husband, Donald of Preston, CT; twograndchildren, Kathleen McGlynn of Windsor, CT and Bethany McGlynn of Stamford, CT; a brother, Dr. Lloyd Davies of Portland; a brother-in-law, Phillip Haskell of Brooklyn Heights, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roswell, and a brother, Thomas Walter Davies.
