Windsor – Dorothy A. Haskell, 74, of Windsor Neck Road, died March 12, 1988 at Kennebec Valley Medical Center, Augusta. She was born in Windsor, Dec. 23, 1913, a daughter of Ira and Dora Turner Choate.
Her husband, Sidney Haskell, died in 1972.
Mrs. Haskell attended Windsor schools and was a 1934 graduate of Erskinr Academy, South China. She was a member of the North Windsor Baptist Church. She had been employed at Augusta State Hospital for four years, and later at Wilson’s Nursing Home, Cooper Mills.
She is survived by two sons, James Sproul and Carleton Haskell, Sr. both of Windsor; a daughter, Leo (Mildred) Gould of North Whitefield; two brothers, Byron Choate and Donald Choate, both of Windsor; two sisters, Louise Finley of Gardiner and Adeline Brann of Windsor; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Windsor.
