  The Deseret News March 19, 1990 Moroni Benjamin Strait, age 13, died March 14, 1990 due to a pedestrian traffic accident. Born October 19, 1976 in Salt Lake City to Richard and Leta Kip Strait. He was concerned for the elderly and handicapped and had a great love for all animals. Active member of the Boy Scouts and the LDS Church. Member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Survived by parents; sister, VaLois, all Portland, Oregon; grandparents, Otho and VaLois Strait; Gerardus and Gail Kip, great-grandparents, Fim Kramer; and Rhoda Stay, all Salt Lake City; aunt and uncle, Debbie and Randy Neal, Kearns.
