  Arizona Republic September 25, 1986 Mesa - Irene Hakes Willis, 83, a salesclerk for Everybody's Dreug Store in Mesa for 25 years before retiring, died Sept. 23, 1986, at Mesa Lutheran Hospital. Mrs. Wills, of Mesa, was born in Mesa. During World War II she worked as a riviter, assembling aircraft for the Goodyear Co. in Avondale. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 20th Ward, serving in the church's Relief Society and as a visiting teacher's supervisor. Survivors include daughters, Shirley Bushong and Pat Tyrell; sons P. Gail, Ted and Chad; three sisters, two brothers; 22 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
