  The Arizona Republic May 10, 2007 Arthur Douglas (Bud) Odom, 74, of Chandler AZ, passed away May 8, 2007. He was born in Glendale, AZ and moved to Chandler as a young boy. He graduated from Chandler High School 1950 and Arizona State University 1957. Art was a gifted athlete, student, artist, gardener and Eagle Scout. After a career in cattle and agriculture he joined the US Post Office from which he retired. Art was a High Priest and member of the Chandler Ray 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He dedicated his life to providing support and time to his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Donna Kay (Coleman); 3 children: Linda, Denny and Doug; and 11 grandchildren. The loss of our Husband, Daddy and PaPa/Grandpa, and Uncle creates a great emptiness in which we commit to fill with loving memories, honorable service, skillful talents and powerful instructions to pass on to other generations.
