Marie Ellen Haskell of Portland was entombed Jan. 4 in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
She died Dec. 31 of age-related causes in a Portland care center. She was 100.
Mrs. Haskell, who was born in Stayton on June 28, 1892, was raised and educated in Portland. Her maiden name was Houser.
She was married for more than 50 years to Reuben Haskell, who died in 1976. At one time, she owned and operated Marie Haskell's Beauty Shop.
She is survived by her nephews, Harold Houser of Bend, Jack Houser of Flagler Beach, Fla., and Max Houser of Tempe, Ariz.; and nieces, Ellen Fauth of Albany and Violet Banks of Des Moines, Wash.
