• Notes

  Pioneer Families and History of Lapeer County, Michigan Perhaps better known among the early seetlers wa Major K. Haskill, who bought land in Sec 30 Arcadia March 1, 1942. Major was his given name, not a title. He died in 1965. His family ran a hotel in Daley and Five Lakes Riads. It was a popular tavern, frequented often by lumbermen. For many years he ran it, and was followed by his son Jeremiah.
