  Idaho Statesman September 29, 2011 Reva Durning died Sept. 9 2011 at Royal Plaza Care Center of cancer at the age of 95. Born on the Wilder Bench to Charles E. Norman and Nellie Russell Norman on Feb. 13, 1916, she was the fourth of six children (2 died in infancy). Reva graduated from Wilder High School in 1933 and attended Link's School of Business. Reva married Francis Willard "Bus" Thompson on 1/16/1935 in Boise, ID. They had two children Rojean Siljeg (Charles) and Charleen Mattoon (Jerry). Together they opened a clothing store in Boise named Heaven to Seven. Married 25 years, Reva became a widow after Bus's death on 4/18/1960. She later married Lewis Durning on 1/20/1968. They made their home in Caldwell, ID until Lew's death on Jan. 28, 1997. Reva then moved to Lewiston, ID. Reva loved to play cards and travel, often visiting family. At the age of 93 she adventured through the Yukon. Her grandchildren often called her the "feisty" grandma. Reva was preceded in death by her siblings; Mildred Graves of Caldwell, ID (8/15/11), Richard Norman (Myrtle) of Salem, OR, and Dudley Norman (Dorothy) of Poway, CA., brothers Edward and Lyle, and her husband's Bus and Lew. She is survived by her two daughters Rojean Siljeg, Charleen Mattoon and step children; Anna Rae Newton (Ron) of Seattle, WA., Mike Durning of Caldwell, ID., and Doug (Durning) Clark (Prakong) of Virginia; by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
