  The Times Union (Albany, NY) April 17, 2002 . BALLSTON SPA -- Doris E. Haskell, 78, of Ballston Spa, died suddenly at her residence on Sunday, April 14, 2002. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Viola Pickett Anson. Doris worked at St. Helen's Church Rectory in Schenectady for many years before her retirement. Mrs. Haskell was a past auxiliary member of the V.F.W. Post 8692 in Colonie. She was the wife of Vern T. Haskell; mother of Kenneth Vincent of Scotia, Robert Vincent of Cohoes, Dennis Vincent of Albany and Alan Britain of Mechanicville. She is the sister of Richard Anson of Hoosick and the late Gerald Anson. Doris is the stepmother of Deborah, Laurel, Priscilla and Becky; and sister-in-law of Frances Anson of Colonie. Six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
