Doris F. Haskell, 77, of El Dorado, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at St. Francis Regional Hospital, Wichita. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Walnut Valley Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be on Monday evening from 6 to 7:30 at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
She was born on Aug. 3, 1933 in Atlanta, Kan., the daughter of Harold and Laura (Ketterman) Haring. She graduated from Leon High School and was a homemaker. On May 15, 1955 Doris and Dale Haskell were united in marriage in Wichita. She had made her home in El Dorado since 1951. Doris enjoyed traveling and following her children and grandchildren in sports.
Those who survive are: her husband, Dale of the home; her children, Carolyn Erpelding and husband Mark of Collinsville, Okla., Donna Read and husband Kelly of Wichita, Jerry Haskell and wife Vickie of Potwin and Tom Haskell of Wichita; her mother, Laura Haring of El Dorado; a sister, Dorothy Glass of Potwin; eight grandchildren, Greg, Tiffany, Brad, Lindsay, Aaron, Kristi, Tyler and Brock; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold.
