  Correspondence with Barbara West Her real childhood name is listed by her parents as "Hattie M." on the US Census for 1910 & 1920, but she went by the name of Marie Erie Times November 03, 1984 MARIE HARRIET MULLEN WEST: Youngsville, PA; 76, died Friday [11-6] at Warren General Hospital. She was born in Ashtabula County 3 Jul 1908, a daughter of Clark & Mae Almeda Irons Mullen. Before her retirement she worked as a teachers' aide with the Northwestern School District. She was a member of W. Springfield First United Methodist Church, Friendly Neighbors Club-W. Springfield, Springfield Garden Club & Cherry Hill Grange. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard West, 3 Feb 1979 & 4 brothers: George, Frank(sic should be Chales G.), Delbert & Hallie Mullen. Survivors include 3 sons: Charles West - Conneaut OH; John West - NYC; Richard West - Youngsville; 2 brothers: Cecil Mullen - W. Springfield; Lee Mullen - Scottsdale AZ; 3 sisters: Myrtle Rocco - Albion; Leda Schultz - Cleveland; Dorothy Spenzer - Sharpsville; 9 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at Marcy Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Wilson - First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in E. Conneaut Cemetery.
