  The Flint Journal (MI) January 18, 2014 DIXON, RONALD ALAN On January 17, 2014, the Angels guided Ron home to his Heavenly family while surrounded by his earthly family. He was born on August 4, 1957 in Owosso, MI to John (Jack) and Betty (Mead) Dixon. Ron retired from Sam's Club, Flint, MI. It was at Sam's where he met the love of his life and soul mate, Maria (Rust) Dixon on March 17, 2000. They were married on November 11, 2012. Ron treasured his children, Ronnie, Bethanie, Brittanie, and Janis. His children were his heart and soul. He enjoyed NASCAR, camping, fishing, and time with his family. He was a member of the County Line Tractor Club. Ron is survived by his wife, children, father, brother Kenny (Teresa) Dixon, mother-in-law Joyce Rust, sisters-in-law Marcia (Joe) Worley, Melissa (Martin Wolfe) Rust, nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his mother, sister Debbie, grandparents, and father-in-law Anthony Rust.
