Elizabeth A. Stevens, 73, of Old North Main St. died Thursday, May 17, 2007, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. She was born March 29, 1932 in Stamford, CT the daughter of Arthur T. Sr. and Marion L. (Burns) Grant. Mrs. Stevens was a graduate of Stamford High School, Stamford, CT class of 1950. She was an avid knitter, quilter and puzzler. She enjoyed fishing, painting cooking and baking. She loved to play board games with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Stevens' spirit of adventure led her to travel widely including Scotland, China and Cambodia. She also lived in many states and countries including Alaska, Montana, Nepal, Thailand and Italy.
On April 26, 1952 in Stamford CT she married Mervin Stevens, her devoted husband who survives. She is also survived by loving daughters Beth (Stevens) Shelton and her husband Carl Shelton and Julie (Stevens) Rios and her husband Jaime Rios all of Walpole, NH; cherished grandchildren LT. Travis Stellfox of Ft. Bragg, NC, Emily Stellfox and Devon Rios both of Walpole, NH; her brothers, Arthur T. Grant, Jr. and wife Jane, John "Jack" F. Grant and wife Joan, Thomas J. Grant and wife Eileen. Also many loved nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Dorothy "Dottie" (Grant) Downing and husband Collins.
