Dana Charles Haskell, 66, of Charmco, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, following a battle with cancer.
Born July 9, 1958, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, he was the son of the late Guy and Carolyn (Hooper) Haskell.
Dana served as a proud U.S. Marine. Due to an injury, his plan of a career as a Marine, was cut short. Re-entering civilian life, he worked as a repairman for an H-Vac company. Dana enjoyed cooking; hunting; working on his guns; fishing; and camping. He was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three siblings Sharman, Donald, and Duane.
Survivors include seven children Meredith Willet, Karen White, Christina Haskell, Kaitlyn Son (David) of Virginia, Meghan Blanton (Dave) of Texas, Ian Guy Haskell of Charmco, serving in the U.S. Air Force, and Carolyn Haskell of Massachusetts; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
