Wilfred, 82, a longtime resident of Hudson, died unexpectedly at his home.
Born in Nashua, he was a son of the late Albert and Emelda (DesBiens) Bellavance. Willy was educated in the Nashua School System and was an Army veteran, who served during the end of World War II and the Korean War.
Willy married Patricia Ann Gosselin on February 28, 1953. They resided in Nashua before moving to their home in Hudson in 1961. Mr. Bellavance was employed as an automotive technician at Decelle & Sons Auto Clinic in Nashua and then worked as an electrician for Rodgers Brothers for a number of years.
Very active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5791 of Hudson, he was a Past Commander of the Military Order of the Cooties. Mr. Bellavance was a communicant of St. Kathryn Church in Hudson. In his leisure time, Willy enjoyed bingo, cribbage and many other card games.
Wil was predeceased by his wife Patricia, with whom he shared 52 years together; his twin brothers, Albert and Robert Bellavance; and sisters, Theresa Levesque and Agnes Patch.
Members of his family include three children, Edward Bellavance of Hudson, Lisa M. Bellavance of Malden, MA and Phyllis Bellavance of Bethlehem, NH; four grandchildren, Victoria and Jesse Bellavance, Karissa Dorman and Amelia Comolli; two great-grandchildren, Elsa Boyle and Eramus Dorman; two brothers, Henry Bellavance of Scarborough, Maine and Louis Bellavance and his wife Rose of Washington State; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
