Gary B. Haskell, 65, of Blue Ridge, Ga., and formerly of Nashua, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006. Mr. Haskell was born July 11, 1940, in Nashua, son of the late Frank L. and Esther (Morse) Haskell. He was the husband of Virginia (Gustafson) Haskell, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.
Mr. Haskell was retired, but previously worked in various sales/service positions in New Hampshire, initially with Ingersoll-Rand, and in Alabama and Georgia, as a plastics engineer.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. Mr. Haskell was in the Air Force ROTC program and later served in the Army National Guard. He graduated from Nashua High School and from Lowell Technological Institute in 1963.
Besides his wife, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-laws, Gary S. and Dianne Haskell of Carrollton, Ga., and F. Scott and Melissa Haskell of McDonough, Ga.; one granddaughter, Karen Haskell of McDonough; a brother, Frank E. Haskell of Nashua; a sister, Ellen M. Haskell of Nashua; an aunt, Dorothy Haskell Boucher of Nashua; a nephew, and several nieces and cousins.
