PORTER CORNERS - Thomas E. Haskell, 75, of Porter Corners, passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at Saratoga Hospital.
Born Oct. 17, 1932, in Milton, he was the son of the late William and Josephine Haskell.
Tom served in the U.S. Army and worked as a tinsmith for General Electric for many years. He was a member of the Middle Grove Fire Company No. 3. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
Tom was predeceased by his brothers, Harold and George Haskell, and a sister, Helen Benoit.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Carol Haskell; son James Haskell and his companion, Tammy Baker, of Milton; two brothers, Walter Haskell and his wife, Joan, of Ballston Spa, William Haskell and his wife, Pat, of Ballston Spa; three sisters, Viola Blowers, Harriet Vaughn and Beverly Haskell, all of Ballston Spa; and several nieces and nephews.
