Norman P. Haskell
August 20, 1930 - September 28, 2018
Skowhegan, ME - Norman P. Haskell died peacefully at his home; he was 88 years old.
Norman was born in Beverly on August 20, 1930, the son of Frank and Mildred (Parker) Haskell. He graduated from Beverly High School then joined the U.S. Army, where he was stationed at the Army Chemical Center in Maryland.
Following his honorable discharge, Norman went on to become a Construction Superintendent. After his retirement from construction, he worked as a bus driver for North Reading Transportation until 2011.
Norman loved to travel in his motor-home with extended family all over the USA. One of his last adventures was to take a cruise to Alaska with his son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. He was also an avid gardener and enjoyed doing carpentry projects at home.
He is survived by his children Scot Haskell, James Haskell, Kim (Mosley) Powers, Lisa Mosley, his grandchildren Crystal Haskell and Justin Packard, his sisters-in-law Sharon Haskell and Veronica Poe, brothers-in-law Robert Pelletier and Robert Ballentine, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise R. Haskell, siblings Robert Haskell, Frank Haskell, Donald Haskell, William Haskell, Betty Jean Pelletier, and son Robert Haskell.
