Grosswiler, 86, passed away and is resting in God's care at 5:50 p.m. January 3, 2010 in Rolling Meadows Health Care Center, LaFontaine. Mrs. Grosswiler was born December 12, 1923 to the late Guy and Caroline (Gerner) Haskell. Mabelle married James B. Grosswiler on April 25, 1943. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1981. She spent her married life as a homemaker and enjoyed playing the piano, cooking, baking, fishing and gardenin Additional survivors include three children, Larry R. (Linda) Grosswiler, Marion; Becky J. Carter, North Manchester; James L. (Diane) Grosswiler, Kingsford Heights, Indiana; one sister, Mary (George) Meyer, Rochester, Indiana; 14 Grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Mabelle was preceded in death by two children, Daniel A. Grosswiler and Gene M. Grosswiler; two brothers, Milford Haskell and Guy Haskell, Jr.; two sisters, Esther Lowry and Anita Bradly.
