  Post-Tribune (IN) December 6, 2008 ROBERT D. HASKELL Crown Point, Indiana Age 82 of Crown Point, Indiana passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at St. Anthony Medical Center. He is survived by his Wife: Violet of 61 years; son, Robert J. (Carrie) Haskell of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter, Kathy S. (Robert) Snyder of Islamorada, FL; 3 grandchildren, Jeff and Brian Haskell and Danielle LeBoeuf; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Claude and Donald. F Mr. Haskell was a member of the Southlake Christian Church. He retired from US Steel Gary Sheet & Tin. Robert was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post #20 Crown Point. After retirement he worked at Summertree Golf Course for many years. Robert was an avid golfer and was proud to record his 5th hole-in-one on his 80th birthday.
