  Post-Tribune (IN) June 24, 2003 DONALD RAY HASKELL, age 73 of Largo, Florida, formerly a longtime resident of Crown Point passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2003. He is survived by: 2 daughters, Kathy (Robert M.) Gerlach of Crown Point, Donna (Robert) Puckett of Hobart; 1 son, Jay Haskell of California; 3 loving grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Robert (Viola) Hasekell of Crown Point; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and 1 brother. Don had belonged to the Crown Point Moose Lodge #260. He was Governor for a year and Treasurer for several years, helped with the operations of the lodges activities including bartending Friday night fish fry's, attending most of the Moose Conventions in Indianapolis and was the weekly bingo caller (one of his favorites). Don became a Pilgrim in the Loyal Order of Moose in May, 2001, this is the highest degree in the Order. When he retired to Florida, he transferred to Moose Lodge #2205 where he continued to be active. Don will be missed by his loving family and friends.
