  The Hutchinson News August 23, 2005 ASHLAND - Bernice Odean Graff, 99, died Aug. 20, 2005, at Ashland Health Care Center. She was born May 29, 1906, near Elmwood, Okla., the daughter of Alfred A. and Moetta Lollar Haskell. She graduated in 1925 from Beaver High School and attended Panhandle A & M, Goodwell, Okla. A resident of Ashland, she was a farm wife. She belonged to the First Christian Church of Ashland and the Bear Creek Home Demonstration Unit. On Dec. 29, 1926, she married Charles Wesley Graff at Meade. He died Oct. 17, 1974. Survivors include: a daughter, Margaret Wise, Loveland, Colo.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dean Charles Graff; three brothers, Orval Leroy, Edward Alonzo and Claude William Haskell; a sister, Gladys Karnes; and a grandson. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church, Ashland, with Minister Jim Sutherland presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Myatt Funeral Home, Ashland. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church or the Highland Cemetery Directory Fund, both in care of the funeral home.
