  Sandusky Register July 27, 1924 HORSE TRAMPS MAN TO DEATH Norwalk, July 26, Leon S. Haskell, 29, a farmer, died this afternoon in Memorial hospital of injuries received when he was tramped upon by a horse in a stable on his farm in Ridgefield tp, a few miles north and west of this city at about 6:30 this morning.It is thought that while feeding the horse, Haskell was seized with a fainting spell nand fell beneath the animal. His skull was crushed. Mr. Haskell, unconscious, was taken in Hay's ambulance to the hospital where death occurred at about12:30 p.m.; Mr. Haskell had been subject to fainting spells.; The horse was not vicious, members of the family state. Mr. Haskell is survived by his widow,two sons, Robert and James, a sister, Mrs. P B. De La Matre and two brothers, Roy of Cleveland and Clyde of Florida.
