LACONIA — Allen C. Haskell, 73 of 38B Summer St., died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.
He was the widower of Violette G. (Poulin) Haskell who died in 1989.
Allen was born Sept. 11, 1933, in Gilford the son of Paul E. and Signe (Petterson) Haskell Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region.
He served in the Air Force from 1956-1958. He enjoyed wintering in Titusville, Fla., for many years. He enjoyed helping others.
Allen was employed as an operator for 35 years for Pike Industries Inc., and retired in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Walter of Laconia; two grandchildren, Timothy Walter and Macayla Walter, both of Laconia; a sister, Elsie Robinson of Colorado; a longtime companion, Claire West of Laconia; and extended loving family; many nephews and nieces.
Beside his parents he was predeceased by a son, Anthony Haskell, three brothers and four sisters.
