  The Charlotte Observer (NC) October 13, 2001 BADIN Mrs. Jennie Haskell Haithcock,89, formerly of 88 Maple Street, died Thursday, October 11, 2001 at Forrest Oaks Healthcare Center. Born September 29, 1912 in Allendale County, Mrs. Haithcock was the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Rouse Haskell. She was a member of Badin Baptist Church for over 60 years, and also was a former member of the Baden Extension Club and the Stanly County Country Club. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haithcock was preceded in death by her husband, McCleary M. Haithcock. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Neysa Hurt of Asheville, NC and Mrs. Martha Pendasulo of Dandridge, TN; one sister, Mrs. Zette Rogers of Albemarle, NC; three grandchildren, Doug Hurt, Leigh Anne Wilson, Erin Pendasulo; and three great grandchildren.
