MESQUITE -- Philip Bruce Haskell, age 71, died peacefully on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah.
He was born July 25, 1932 in Lynn, Massachusets to Richard and Pearl Joslin Haskell. He was raised in Lynn and attended schools there. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and valiantly served his country during the Korean War.
Philip married Patricia Leona Reed on September 21, 1957 in New Hampshire. They lived in Massachusets for a few years before moving to Torrance, California.
He was a very hard worker. He was employed as a skilled welder at Garrett Air Research for more than 30 years. He and Pat retired to Mesquite, Nevada several years ago.

Philip was very adventurous and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed being in the mountains, the desert and at the beach, just as long as his family was with him.
He liked several sports and had a great time coaching his grandson's teams in recent years. Family was No. 1 and his family always came first.
Philip will be remembered as a loving and caring father, grandfather and husband. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Haskell, of Mesquite, Nevada; five daughters, Cheryl Frisby of Dallas, Texas, Angela Haskell of Mesquite, Nevada, Joni Ramirez of Canoga Park, California, Lyn Austin and Joanie Dubberly, both of El Segundo, California; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
