Irene H. Beaudin, age 94, passed away on March 1, 2021, at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Heatlhcare after a long illness. Mrs. Beaudin was born in Massachusetts, the daughter of Louis and Lillian Haskell, but spent most of her early life in New Jersey. She received her Registered Nursing Degree from St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City, where she met and married Dr. Briand N. Beaudin. They later moved to Rhode Island working together to establish a pediatric practice.
Mrs. Beaudin was a very talented lady. She loved music and was an accomplished singer and dancer. She was a competitive athlete in golf, tennis, and bowling, a master bridge player and an avid reader holding "Great Books" discussion meetings in her home. In later years, she took up painting with a dear friend and specialized in landscapes and wildlife.
Mrs. Beaudin was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband in 2013, after 66 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her eldest son, Brian; and two brothers, Robert Haskell and William Haskell.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Patricia) Beaudin of Warren, RI and Kevin (Barbara) Beaudin of Hollis, NH; and daughter, Linda (Glenn) Adelman of Johnstown, NY. Mrs. Beaudin was the proud grandmother of Bryan (Laura) Adelman of Charlotte, NC, Julie (Jason) Risley of Johnstown, NY, Dalielle (Iain) Bamford and Nicole (Paul) Snape of Barrington, RI; and great-grandmother of Olivia, James and Julian Adelman, Jacob, Jaidyn and Jamey Risley, Benjamin and Anna Bamford; and Scarlett Snape.
