QUAKER HILL, CT - Phillip Howard Dunn, 76, of 8 College Court, passed away January 28, 2006 at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 10, 1929 in Oxford, the son of the late Phillip and Grace (Davis) Dunn.
He was married to the late Winona Haskell Dunn, who predeceased him. He married his wife, Marie Chambers, on January 26, 2005. She survives him.
In 1956 he moved to CT and began work at Pfizers where he retired after 26 years. In 1956 he started Dunn's Tree Care service as a side business until it became his full time business in 1980. He was a very hard working man who loved the tree care business. He was an avid NY Nicks fan and New England Patriots fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Robert Dunn; his two daughters, Candice Snow and Sandra Smith; his brother, Bernard Dunn; his stepchildren, Fred Chambers III, Dan Chambers, Dawn Otero and Jean Chambers; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren.
In addition to his first wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son, Howard Dunn.
