  Watertown Daily Times May 13, 1918 Lowville, May 13 - The remains of Mrs. George Moyer, whose death occurred at Utica Friday Evening where she underwent an operation for appendicitis, were brought to her home in this village Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Moyer’s maiden name was Alice Haskell and she was the daughter of Roselle and Minerva Taul Haskell. She was born at Trenton Falls 50 years ago. She was well known in the community, and had many friends who learn of her death with great regret. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Leon L. Duflo of Lowville, and Mrs. John E. Hayes of Fulton; three brothers, Truman, Elmer Haskell and John of Wilmurt, and a sister, Mrs. Truman R. Brown of Clearwater. _____ Watertown Daily Times May 14, 1918 Lowville, May 14. – Mrs. George Moyer, who underwent an operation for appendicitis at Faxon Hospital, Utica, a week ago last Thursday, died at that institution Friday night, and the remains were brought to her late home in the Village on Saturday. Mrs. Roselle was the daughter of Roselle Haskell and was born at Trenton Falls in 1868. She was united in marriage with Mr. Moyer in 1888 and they resided in Lowville the past 20 years. Mrs. Moyer was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and Nakomis Rebekah Lodge and was held in high esteem in the community. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leon Duflo of Lowvillle and Mrs. John E. Hayes of Fulton.
