  Daily Sentinel April 13, 2024 Josephine M. "Jo" Haskell, 92, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2024, at The Grand of Rome. Born in Madison, NY, on March 9, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Jones) Bicknell. She was married to the late Thomas Haskell. She went to work for General Electric before deciding to put her career on hold to start a family. She later went on to work for the Rome City School District. Jo was an active member of the Delta United Methodist Church and sang in the choir with her son and late husband. She and her husband Tom loved to dance: ballroom dance, line dance, and square dance. She was also an avid bowler. Jo is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott Haskell and Gina Tatum; and her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sue Bicknell.
