  Campbell Funeral Home BEVERLY - Emily G. (Haskell) Smith, age 87 years, died Thursday morning, January 18, 2007 at Blueberry Hill Health Care in Beverly. Born in Lamaline, Newfoundland, Canada, daughter of the late Frank and Ida S. (Williams) Haskell, she came to the United States when she was 9 years old and settled in Marblehead. Mrs. Smith married her husband, the late Earl S. Smith in 1944. They had lived in Haverhill for many years. She had lived at Enon Village for 31 years. Her and her husband were one of the first residents in the development. Mrs. Smith was employed with the Gillette Company and was a packer for them. Surviving her are one son, Earl S. Smith, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; one granddaughter, Lisa Marie Miller and her husband Jay of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Canada; and sister of Mary MacRae of Wareham.
