Beverly M. Haskell-Nurek of Apalachin, N.Y.
Beverly passed into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, October 5, 2004.
Bev is survived by her loving husband, Dave; her father, Robert D. Haskell, Vestal, N.Y.; and a brother, Robert E. Haskell, Vestal, N.Y.; and her three children, James and his wife, Deborah Blakeney, Vestal, N.Y., Jill Blakeney, Vestal, N.Y., Kevin Blakeney, Endicott, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Melissa and David. Bev was predeceased by her mother, Viola Haskell. Bev is also survived by three stepchildren, Randy Nurek, Endwell, N.Y., Kristin Nurek, North Carolina, Stephanie Morgan and her husband, Christopher, and their daughter, Madison, North Carolina. Bev is also survived by her mother-in-law, Helen Nurek, Unadilla, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Carol Hall and her husband, Wayne, Delhi, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Gary Nurek, Florida; sister-in-law, Joanne D'Aurora and her husband, Edward, Colorado; brother-in-law, Steven Nurek and his wife, Elma, Schenevus, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Barbara Turner and her husband, Erick, Bainbridge, N.Y.; also several nieces and nephews.
Bev and her husband, Dave, own and operate the Big Dipper Ice Cream in Apalachin. Bev has many fond memories of close friends and neighbors that she takes with her as she enters the Lord's Kingdom. She specifically wants to express her gratitude to the doctors and nurses who tended her.
