  The Daily Herald February 15, 1979 Payson - Funeral services for Rex E. Elmer, 65, who died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1979 in the Payson Hospital, ... He was born July 7, 1913 in Payson to Hyrum K. and Cynthia Haskell Elmer. He married Wilma Haycock Nov. 27, 1935 in Payson. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Ge was a member of the LDS Church. He received his education in Payson schools and had been empl;oyed by the Pacific States Cast Iron Company. Survivors include his wife; one son and two daughters, George Rex Elmer, Murray; Mrs. Larry (Kay) Darton, Sandy; Mrs. Kendell (Maye) Ewell, Genola; 14 grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Wilma) Wride, Mrs. Hugh (Edna) Gerber, Mrs. Ernest (Estella Faye) Caress and Merl Lynn Elmer, all of Payson.
