  Springfield Union May 28, 1975 Mrs. Esther (Holbrook) Haskell, 78, of 55 Cooper St, Agawam, great granddaughter of Daniel B. Wesson, founder of Smith & Wesson, Inc., died Tuesday in the Medical Center of Western Massachusetts. Born in Springfield, Mrs, Haskell was formerly of 77 Magnolia Terrace, Springfield. She was a member of South Congregational Church, the Blandford Club and the Longmeadoe Country Club. She was also a former member of Junior League, Springfield. She leaves her husband, William Edward Haskell; three daughters, Mrs. Susan Lefferts of Springfield, Mrs. H. C. Bush of Blandford and Joanne Ball of West Springfield; a sister, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Burial Oak Grove Cemetery.
