  Sentinel & Enterprise December 30, 2005 LEOMINSTER -- Evelyn May (Tisdale) Tata, 79, of 70 St. Jean Ave., died Thursday, Dec. 29, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Worcester on April 22, 1926, the daughter of Frederick and Margaret (Haskell) Tisdale and had lived in Leominster for the past 48 years. She graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester and for most of her adult life, met on a monthly basis with 11 of her childhood friends, as the KPC Girls Club. These women have been friends for over 70 years. She was a past president of the Priest Street School PTA in Leominster. Mrs. Tata was an avid bowler and was a member of a few bowling leagues in Fitchburg. She enjoyed flower gardening, doing embroidering and cross stitching. She had been a volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society for many years. Mrs. Tata is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joseph J. Tata; two daughters, Beth T. Posco and her husband Mark L. Posco of Leominster and Gail M. Markiewicz and her husband, Christopher D. Markiewicz, of Webster; three sons, James R. Tata and his wife, Patricia Tata, of Westfield, N.J., Stephen J. Tata and his wife, Meredith Tata, of Fitchburg, and Gary P. Tata and his fiancée, Debra Fratturelli, of Leominster; two sisters, Elizabeth F. Levasseur of West Alton, N.H., and Priscilla H. Farrell and her husband, John Farrell, of West Alton, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Anna Tata of Leominster; nine grandchildren, Megan Posco, Jesse Posco, Angela Tata, Maria Tata, Holly Tata, Joseph Tata, Anthony Fraturelli, Anne Marie Markiewicz and Bradley Markiewicz; and several nieces and nephews.
