  The Times-Picayune (New Orleans, LA) May 1, 1998 Donald M. Haskell, a retired chemical engineer, died April 19 of cancer in Tulsa, Okla. He was 73. Mr. Haskell was born and raised in Michigan and lived in Tulsa. He graduated from Michigan Tech University and did graduate work at Cornell University. He worked in the research department of Phillips Petroleum Co. for many years and had 27 patents in the chemical engineering field. Survivors include his wife, Thoral Haskell; a stepson, David Phillips; two stepdaughters, Lanae and Carol Phillips; and a brother, Henry Haskell of Harahan.
